PENERAPAN TEKNIK BERIKAN UANGNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 27 PADANG

Abstract
This study started from a fact based on the results of observations that have been made in SMP Negeri 27 Padang, that when students are not performing tasks in groups sharing their knowledge. When getting difficulty in working on, they are just waiting for an explanation from the teacher alone. When there are members of the group who did not understand the assignment, members of the group who understand just stay quiet and do not explain to the members of the group who do not understand. To reduce the problems above, can be done by applying the technique to give the money. These techniques form the students work in pairs in doing the task or exercise and give each other a science or knowledge that is valuable to other couples in resolving mathematical problems. So that learning will be easier and not complicate. This type of research is experimental research. Based on the results of data analysis of student learning outcomes in the second grade sample, using a hypothesis test obtained t count = 1.70 and t table = 1.68 at 95% confidence level with α = 0.05. Because t count > t table then the hypothesis is accepted. Based on the results of hypothesis conducted, showing that mathematics learning outcomes of students who apply techniques give the money better than the learning outcomes of students who apply regular learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 27 Padang.
