MENINGKATAN MOTIVASI SISWA KELAS 1V MELALUI METODE INQUIRY DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PKn Di SDN 32 TELUK RAYA, KECAMATAN KOTO XI TARUSAN
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of students to develop the ability to think and work together. The process of learning in the classroom is only directed to approach the student's ability to memorize information and for students to master a number of learning materials. As a result, the motivation of students to follow a low learning. This research was conducted as a class action participants. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects were fourth grade students of SDN 32 Gulf Kingdom, which amounts to 17 people. Instruments used in this research is student motivation questionnaire sheet, the activities of teachers and students' achievement test. Based on the results of research carried out in class IV SDN 32 Gulf Kingdom, use Inquiry method proven to improve students' motivation. It can be seen from the average student motivation first cycle of 65.86% increased to 79.77% in the second cycle (increase 13.19%). In addition, the thoroughness of student learning outcomes also increases seen from the results of the final tests of student evaluation cycle I with an average percentage of 64.70% completeness, increased in the second cycle the average completeness 88.23% (23.53% rise). From the results obtained it can be concluded that the learning civics through learning methods inqurydapat increase the motivation of fourth grade students at SDN 32 Gulf Kingdom.
