Abstrak

Abstract

Based on observations in class VII SMPN 29 Padang found that in every learning student’s generally do not prepare before starting the lesson, student’s are less active and indifferent in the learning process, learning less interesting and fun. As a result, learning is not as expected. Based on these problems, then one way to resolve it by applying the active learning model types Course Review horay (CRH). The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics using active learning model types horay better course review of the results of student’s mathematics learning using conventional learning. Type of research is experimental research. The study population was all student’s of class VII SMPN 29 Padang. As for the sample class VII7 as an experimental class and the class as a class VII6 control. The data analyzes using t-test confidence level of 0.05 was obtained t= 1.2818 and t(0.975; 56) = 2.004. Because t < t(0.975; 56) that is then 1.2818 < 2.004 proposed hypothesis is accepted. it was concluded that the learning outcomes of student’s learning mathematics using active learning model type of course review horay equally good with math learning outcomes of students who use conventional learning.
