Abstrak

The aim of research is to describe the cognitive learning Improvement, Affective and Psychomotor skills of students through a process approach in science teaching fourth grade in Negeri 22 SalimpatKabupaten Solok. Process skills approach can be interpreted as an approach to teaching that emphasizes the development of skills of students who performed with the involvement of students in it. This type of research is classroom action research conducted by the participants. The research instrument usedquestionnaire student, teacher observation sheet and test sheet learning outcomes. The study was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 22 SalimpatKabupaten Solok totaling 28 people. Percentage completeness cognitive aspects of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 61% with an average value of 76.26 while the percentage of mastery learning on the second cycle increased to 93% with an average value of 84.9. Affective aspects of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 46% with an average value of 72.09 while on the second cycle increased to 96% with an average value of 78.16. And psychomotor aspects of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 61% with an average value of 74.88, while on the second cycle increased to 96% with an average value of 78.71. It can be concluded that the approach to learning science process skills can improve learning outcomes fourth grade students of SD Negeri 22 SalimpatKabupaten Solok.
