Abstrak

This study purpose to look at the influence of social competence certification of Indonesian junior high school teachers in the district of Koto XI Tarusan South Coast. Theory referenced are the opinions Mulyasa (2008) concerning the competence standards and certification, Musfah (2011) on enhancing the competence of teachers. This research is a quantitative method, ex post facto. Data sourced from respondents fellow teachers, students, and community gained from the questionnaires. Certified teachers as many as 15 people and teachers who have not been certified by 2 people. From the test results obtained by normality and homogeneity test after test the hypothesis turns out t arithematic < t table so that Ho is rejected it can be concluded that the results of the social competence of certified teachers strong social competence compared with teachers who have teacher certification Indonesian SMP in District Koto XI Tarusan the South Coast in the year 2015 so that it can be done significantly to the social competence of teachers.
