Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcomes of students of class XI Themes My food IV.A on Health Foods through inquiry methods at SDN 19 Kampung Baru, District Central Pariaman, Pariaman. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of six sessions and one final exam cycle. The subjects were IV.A grade students of SDN 19, Kampung Baru, which amounted to 17 men and 11 women. The research instruments used were pieces of student learning outcomes, teacher observation sheet teaching activities, students' test results, field notes, and cameras. Based on the results of the study, the average value increased knowledge of students in the first cycle is 62.5 increased in the second cycle be 75. The average value increased understanding of students in the first cycle is increased in the second cycle 52.7 to 77.2. In the first cycle completeness of student learning outcomes was 46.5% and increased in the second cycle to 78.6%. Whereas affective learning outcomes of students in the first cycle was 53.6% and increased in the second cycle to 78.6%. This means that students of class XI IV.A on the theme of Healthy and Nutritious My food through inquiry method in SDN 19 Kampung Baru, District Central Pariaman, Pariaman, managed to exceed the limits of the school thoroughly studied desire. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can use in the inquiry method of learning to improve student learning outcomes.
