Abstrak

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes in teaching fifth grade students at SDN 34 Koto IPS Rawang South Coast. Purpose of this study was to describe the increase in activity and results of social studies students through Circuit Model Learning in SDN 34 Koto Rawang. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) are conducted in two cycles. Number of students of class V 30, the instrument used is the observation sheet teacher activity, student activity observation sheet, sheet final test cycle. Based on data analysis of student learning activity sheets on indicators of answering the question in the first cycle obtained an average percentage score of 28.33 and increased in the second cycle into 81.66. Activities discussed in the first cycle with an average percentage of 26.66. And increased in the second cycle into 76.66. Results of cognitive learning cycle I gained an average of 54.66 and increased in the second cycle into 74.83. Results of the end of the first cycle test study gained an average of 59.83. And increased in the second cycle into 83.73. From the research results obtained it can be concluded that an increase in activity and learning outcomes IPS fifth grade students of SDN 34 Koto Rawang after using learning model Learning Circuit. Then the time used to be as effective as possible.
