Abstrak

This research is motivated by the lack of creativity and student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian third grade students of SDN 04 Kampung Olo Nanggalo District of Padang. Factors causing low creativity and student learning outcomes, namely a lack of attention in the learning process, teachers often use the lecture method so it does not promote creativity and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in creativity and cognitive aspects of learning outcomes third grade students in learning Indonesian through strategies Information Search at SDN 04 Kampung Olo Nanggalo District of Padang. This type of research is a classroom action research. The subjects were students of class III totaling 29 students. Research instrument in the form of teachers' activities observation sheets, observation sheets student creativity and achievement test sheet. The results obtained an increase in the average percentage of student creativity cycle I 44.82% to 90.51% in the second cycle. The average percentage of teacher activity also increased in the first cycle 66.25% to 92.5% in the second cycle, while the average student learning outcomes 48.27 the first cycle increased in the second cycle into 96.55. Information can be concluded through a strategy of Search can be enhanced creativity and learning outcomes of Indonesian students in grade III. Thus, it is advisable for teachers to use strategies Information Search to improve creativity and learning outcomes Indonesian.
