PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V MELALUI STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE TRUE OR FALSE DISERTAI HANDOUT DI SDN 03 TIMPEH

Abstrak

This research is based on the lack of activity and student learning outcomes in mathematics teaching, especially in class V SDN 03 Timpeh. The purpose of this research is to improve  the students learning activity in asking questions, answering questions, discussion groups and to improve the students learning outcomes. The design of this  research is classroom action research. Subjects in this study were students of class V SDN 03 Timpeh, totaling 16 students. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet that include  student learning activities, teacher activity observation sheet and test student learning outcomes. Based on the results of this research, the learning activities of students asking questions, was 28.12% in the first cycle increased was 71.87% in the second cycle, the learning activities of students answered questions was 34.37% in the first cycle increased was 75.00% in Second cycle, student learning activities on group discussions 53.12% in the first cycle increased to 84.37% in the second cycle, the percentage of student learning outcomes, 75% in the first cycle increased to 87.5% in the second cycle. It can be concluded that learning mathematics through active learning strategy by using “True or False accompanied by Handout†at SDN 03 Timpeh can increase the activity and student learning outcomes. Based on these results the researchers suggest that teachers can implement active learning strategy type True or False accompanied Handout.
