PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V PADA PEMBELAJARAN PKn MELALUI MODEL THINK PAIR AND SHARE DI SDN 47 KOTO TUO PADANG
Abstrak
The purpose of this study was to describe the communication skills and student learning outcomes in grade V in learning civics through the model Think Pair and Share in SDN 47 Koto Tuo Padang. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final exam cycle. The subjects were students of class V SDN 47 Koto Tuo, totaling 14 people. The research instrument used was the observation sheet communication skills, observation sheet teaching activities of teachers, students' test results, field notes, and cameras. Based on the results of observation sheet communication skills cycle I and II. on the first cycle obtained average value is 61.90 with the percentage of 57.14% increased in the second cycle obtained average value is 76.78 with the percentage of 85.71%. Civics C1 level learning outcomes (knowledge) of students in the first cycle obtained average value is 54.46, while the second cycle of the average values obtained 75 with the overall average percentage is 64.73%. C2-level Civics learning outcomes of students in the first cycle obtained average value is 51.78, while in the second cycle obtained by the average value of 76.19 with the overall average percentage is 75.59%. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of students who achieve a passing grade in the first cycle and increased 42.86% in the second cycle into 78.57%. This means learning civics by using a model Think Pair and Share can improve communication skills and learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN 47 Koto Tuo Padang. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can use the model Think Pair and Share in learning to improve communication skills siswa.
