Abstrak

Target of this research to increase ability read the understanding of class student of V in study of Indonesian by using strategy of Reciprocal LearninginSDN 21 Jati Utara Padang. Theory the usedisReciprocal Learning startegi, according to Huda ( 2013), while reading to be usedbytheory which told by Dalman (2013). this Research typeisResearch Of Action Class. Subjek of this researchofclass student of V counted 20 people. Research instrument the usedisteacher activity observation sheet, student observation sheet, and student spread sheet. From result of research obtainedbyability read the understanding of student by using strategy of Reciprocal Learning activity observation learnatcycle of I with percentage mean 70% mountingatcycle of II with percentage mean become 82,5%. Observation data read the understanding ofatcycle of I with mean of pesentase 73% mountingatcycle of II with percentage mean become 81%. Mean result of learningatcycle of I 64,5 with mean of pesentase 50% mountingatcycle of II become 87,5 with percentage mean 80%. Becoming study of Indonesian by using strategy of Reciprocal Learning can improve ability read the understanding of student. Hence can be concluded, from result of obtained research, applying of strategy of Reciprocal Learning in study of Indonesian can improve ability read the understanding of class student of V SDN 21 Jati Utara Padang.
