NILAI ESTETIKA CERITA RABAB PESISIR SELATAN KABA GADIH BASANAI YANG DINYANYIKAN OLEH PIRIN ASMARA
Abstrak
This study aimed to describe the aesthetic value from the story of Rabab Pesisir Selatan Kaba Gadih Basanai that sung by Pirin Asmara. The theory used in this study is the theory of aesthetics proposed by Atmazaki (2007) and Ratna (2007). The study is a qualitative study and using descriptive methods. Techniques used in the data collection are listening, transcribing, and translating into Indonesian language, than record the translite result that contained aesthetic, while the techniques used in the data analysis process are (1) identifying the aesthetic values contained in Kaba Gadih Basanai in accordance with the concept of the aesthetic, (2) describing the aesthetic values in the story Kaba Gadih Basanai, and (3) drawing a conclusion. Based on the analysis of data on the Rabab Pesisir Selatan Kaba Gadih Basanai, there are four aspects of the aesthetic. First, the value of unity contained in Kaba Gadih Basanai as word badunsanak which is a form of unity from the words mother, brother and nephew. Second, the value of harmony is a natural interaction of several different parts, like sentences bari luruih badan batanyo, bari bana ambo barundiang which is occurs the harmony because of the natural interaction and the similarity of views between the first sentence and the second sentence. Third, the balance or exactness comparison between two different things such as pantun hari nan sadang tangah ari, sadang pamuntak bayang-bayang, jo siapo nak gadih kababiri lai, barek ringan ditangguang sorang namely the exactness comparison between sampiran and isi. Fourth, the value of contradiction is the harmony caused by something opposite such as words panjang and singkek in sentence indak paralu dirantang panjang, bia to puta nak nyo singkek. It can be concluded that the story of Rabab Pesisir Selatan Kaba Gadih Basanai contains many aesthetic values.
