NILAI-NILAI MORAL DALAM NOVEL DI BAWAH TELAPAK KAKIMU KARYA TAUFIQURRAHMAN AL-AZIZY

Abstrak

This study aimed to describe the moral values that reflected the behavior and character of the characters in the novelDi Bawah Telapak Kakimu byTaufiqurrahman Al-Azizy. The theory used in the search for moral values in accordance with that proposed Bertens(2011). The research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Data taken from the behavior of self and experience figures. This study focused on the figure of moral values. Moral values of the characters in the novel Di Bawah Telapak Kakimu includes, aspect of conscience, freedom and responsibility aspects, aspects of rights and obligations, and aspects of the value of the norm. From every aspect of the moral values that dominate are aspects of rights and obligations. Because it is a trip that Dimas main character in the novel illustrates many aspects of the moral values of rights and obligations. He tried to defend their right to the land of rice fields and its obligations to protect his mother from a variety of problems. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that the four moral values of mutual support in the continuity of such stories, character Mak Ijah, Dimas and Sriwiji illustrates aspects of conscience, Pak Atmojo stirred his heart and feel responsible for solving the problems Mak Ijah with Pak Haris describe moral values from the aspect of freedom and responsibility. Dimas attitude which has always respected the orders and keeping his mother describe the moral values of the aspect of rights and obligations. The characteristic ofNugroho and Pak HarisHariHHhmmkkkkkkkkd that are not good in his behavior towards Mak Ijah and Dimas describe the moral values of the aspect of values and norms.
