PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA MELALUI MODEL GROUPINVESTIGATION (GI) DI SDN 07 Kp. JAWA II PARIAMAN TENGAH

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of learning outcome of student on Indonesian language subject by group investigation (GI) model. Theory references that used in this research were theory that had been developed by Amrina (2008) about learning, and theory of Istarani (2012) about GI learning model. This research was classroom action research that conducted in two cycles. Cycle I consisted of three meetings and cycle II also consisted of three meetings. Subjects were students of class V SDN 07 Kp. Jawa Pariaman Tengah which amounted to 23 students. Instruments used in this research were teacher activity assessment sheet, student activity assessment sheet, and learning outcome test. Research finding shows that GI learning model can improve student learning outcomes. UH completeness of learning outcomes has increase at the end of cycle I where average learning outcome is 56.95 while percentage of learning completeness is 47% and for cycle II is 82.60 while percentage of learning completeness is 86% with KKM of 70. Thus, it can be concluded Group Investigation learning model can improve learning outcomes for fifth grade students on Indonesian Language subject in SDN 07 Kp. Jawa Pariaman Tengah.
