Abstrak

ABSTRACT

 

Based on the experience of researchers at SDN 05 Enam Lingkung that the lack of activity and poor learning outcomes third grade students on the subjects of Civics. The research problems are how increased activity and student learning outcomes in education civics through the model  Teams GamesTurnaments at SDN 05 Enam Lingkung? The aim of this study was to describe the increased activity and student learning outcomes in education civics through the model Teams GamesTurnaments. This type of research is a classroom action research. Subjects were third grade students enrolled in the first semester of academic year 2014/2015 which amounted to 32 students consisting of 22 men and 10 women. The research instrument used is the observation sheet student activities, teacher activity observation sheet, and achievement test. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of student activity cycle I is 53.13% increased in the second cycle to 80%. Judging from the results of learning, learning completeness percentage of students in the first cycle was 71.41% increased in the second cycle into 85.47%. This means an increase in activity and the results of the third grade students of SDN 05 Six Lingkung after using Model Learning Teams Games Turnaments. Based on these results, it is suggested teachers can use Teams Games Turnaments learning model to enhance the activity and student learning outcomes in learning Citizenship Education.
