Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pengumuman Dan Kegiatan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Informatika Dan Komputer Berbasis SMS Gateway

Abstrak

This research aims to produce an information system announcements and technical education student kegiataan informatics and computer-based SMS Gateway. This information system was made because of the absence of an application that can deliver an announcement to students quickly, resulting in ignorance students about the announcement that has been issued campus. This type of research is the study design using waterfall method, which consists of the analysis, design, coding, and testing. The program is made using Debian as a server operating system, kannel as SMS gateway engine, the programming language in use Hypertext Processor (PHP), JQuery, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), and MySQL as the database. Actors in this application is admin and students. After testing with expert validation, the system generated information such as SMS gateway application that can send short messages or SMS to the students concerned. SMS gateway application can already be implemented by HMPS PTIK to spread the announcement.
