PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE SGW (SMALL GROUP WORK) PADA MATA PELAJARAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI (TIK) SISWA KELAS XI SMA PGRI 1 PADANG
Abstrak
This research is background about the students result of class XI SMA PGRI 1 Padang still be low. One of the factor is caused by the student can not understand about the learning material that conveyed by teacher, they do not give attention while the teacher was explaining about the learning material and most of student talk with each other or their seatmate. Because of that the teacher use cooperative learning model that is Small Group Work to motivate student so that more be active in learning process. The purpose of this research is to know about the result of student learning in TIK that used cooperative learning model type Small Group Work on cognitive is better than the result of student learning that used convensional in student class XI SMA PGRI 1 Padang. This research used experiment research with all population of student class XI SMA PGRI 1 Padang. Technique to determine sample is using purposive sampling technique it is determine average mark almost same with class XI IPA and then to determine the experimental class and control class it is doing by random so that the writer can class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 3 as control class. The result of student learning is gotten by the final test such as objective 25 questions and doing t-test so it gets tcount = 2,772 and ttable = 1,671 because tcount > ttable so declining H0 and accepting H1. It concludes that the result of student learning in TIK the student who used cooperative learning model type Small Group Work is better than the result of student learning that used conventional learning in student class XI SMA PGRI 1 Padang.
