The result of study on 9 grade student at junior high school 10 is still under the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) its cause of the student did not active in learning process, and only some of student did LKS meanwhile the others only cheated their friends answer. Therefore, active learning strategy The Power of Two type is one of the best ways to solve this problem. The purpose of this research is to know the result of the study information technology and communication subject by using active learning strategy The Power of Two type is better than usual strategy on 9 grade students at junior high school 10 Padang. Hypothesis in this research was the result of study in learning information technology and communication subject through active learning strategy The Power of Two type is better than usual strategy on 9 grade students at junior high school 10 Padang. Kind of this research was experimental research. The population of this research was 9 grade student at junior high school 10 Padang who register in academic year 2015/2016 that’s consist of 8 homogeneous classes. In selecting sample the researcher used random sampling then selected IX.F as experimental class and students’ class IX.H as control class. The result of study in learning information technology and communication subject on sample class, hypothesis of the research is used by test the differentiate standard average . The result of the calculation was and . Because then hypothesis was accepted. Thus the conclusion was the result of the study in learning information technology and communication by using active learning strategy The Power of Two type is better than usual strategy.
