INCREASING PARTICIPATION AND LEARNING OUTCOMES GRADE VII A STUDY ON THE CIVIC EDUCATION BY MODEL STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISIONS MTsN RIVER IN JAMBU BATUSANGKAR
Abstrak
This research is motivated on the low participation and student learning outcomes seen from the daily test results of the first semester students are still many who have not completed, this study aims: 1) To describe the cognitive learning outcomes increase the level of understanding of students of class VII A. learning civics in MTsN River Guava Batusanggkar through STAD model. 2) Describe the enhancements to the results of cognitive learning level of understanding of students of class VII A learning civics in Sungai Jambu MTsN Batusanggkar through STAD model. 3) Describe the learning outcome affective domain cooperation in MTsN class VII A Jambu River Batusanggkar through STAD model 4) Describe the enhancements to the results of studying the affective responsibility VII class A type of research is a class act. The instrument used is the observation sheet activities of teachers, observation sheet affective student learning outcomes, achievement test sheet, field notes and documentation. Results of this study showed that 1) STAD learning model can improve student learning outcomes, learning outcomes in the first cycle of students who completed 9 52.94 while the second cycle which finished 14 with a value of 82. 2) STAD learning model can improve learning outcomes affective increasing the responsibility of students in the first cycle of 15.5%, while silkus II acquire 17%) model of student learning can improve learning outcomes affective cooperation of students increased by an average of 5.5% in the first cycle, while the second cycle obtain 16.25.
