PENINGKATAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE SNOWBALL THROWING PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN 27 SAGO KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in interest and student learning outcomes in natural science Snowball Throwing learning model at state elementary school (SDN) 27 Sago Pesisir Selatan District. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) held in the first semester of the 2015/2016 academic year at SDN 27 Sago Pesisir Selatan District. The subjects were students of class V SDN 27 Sago Pesisir Selatan with totaling 25 students. This study consisted of two cycles of meetings were held twice each cycle. The procedure consisted of four stages: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results showed an increase in student interest in the joy of the first cycle 74% increase in the second cycle to 92%, students 'interest in interest in the first cycle 62% increase in the second cycle to 90%, students' interest in the attention of the first cycle 76% increase in cycle II to 96%, students' interest in the involvement of the first cycle 62% increase in the second cycle to 90%. Completeness of  learning students the first cycle and the second cycle were 82.9 to 68.9. Implementation of the learning process of teachers also increased from 66.7 to 87.5 in second cycle. It means that the implementation of natural science learning using  Snowball Throwing model goes well. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of Snowball Throwing learning model can improve the interest and study outcomes in natural science teaching in class V SDN 27 Sago Pesisir Selatan District. And the results of this study, it is suggested to teachers to use the cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing type in natural science teaching to encourage and increase student learning outcomes.
