This study aimed to describe the increased activity and student learning outcomes in science learning using learning models Quantum Teaching in class IV SDN 18 Bukit Kecil Lumpo. This research is a classroom action research conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2015/2016 in SDN SDN 18 Bukit Kecil Lumpo. The subjects were students of class IV SDN SDN 18 Bukit Kecil Lumpo totaling 15 students. The study was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisting of three meetings. The research instrument in the form of student activity observation sheet, aspects of teacher and achievement test. The results showed an increase in the activity of the students asked the first cycle is 47% increased in the second cycle to 74%, while the activity of the students answered questions on the first cycle of 60% rising to 84% in the second cycle. Completeness of student learning outcomes 68.66 each first cycle and the second cycle is 78. This means that the implementation of science learning using learning model Quantum Teaching goes well. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of Quantum Teaching learning model can improve the activity and learning outcomes in learning science in Class IV SDN 18 Bukit Kecil Lumpo. It is therefore recommended to the teacher to be able to use the model of Quantum Teaching learning in science teaching in elementary school.
