PERANAN PANTI ASUHAN PUTRA AISYIYAH SUNGAI PENUH DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER DAN PEMBERDAYAAN ANAK

Abstrak

Aisyiyah son orphanage is one of the orphanages in Sungai Penuh city. Aisyiyah son orphanage Sungai Penuh serves to provide guidance education, skills, and is responsible for the basic needs of children, mental and spiritual so that children can be educated and skilled human being with no escape from moral values and religion. It is interesting to researc to uncover more about: 1) how the role of the Aisyiyah son orphanage Sungai Penuh for character building and empowerment of children, 2) Strategies of Aisyiyah son orphanage Sungai Penuh for character building dan 3) how efforts Aisyiyah son orphanage Sungai Penuh in the empowerment of children? This type of research is qualitative research. Subjects enrolled in the study which is 3 guided and foster children orphanages son Aisyiyah full stream. Data collection by observation, interview, questioner and documentation. The results showed that: First, the role of Aisyiyah son orphanage Sungai Penuh to foster care is to give moral guidance, counseling skills and science education for children through both formal and non-formal education. Second, the strategy of caretaker Aisyiyah son orphanage Sungai Penuh that in shaping the character values of children, there are 7 values: value character relgius, discipline, honesty, responsibility, care for the environment, independent, and hard work , Third, efforts to empower children in Aisyiyah son orphanage Sungai Penuh which has been promoted is a program of life skills such as screen printing and gardening.
