PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA VII.4 MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW PADA PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DI SMP KARTIKA I-7 PADANG

Abstrak

This research was motivated by the low activity of class VII.4 SMP Kartika I-7 Padang students in asking questions, making resume, and getting conclusion, it used Coperative Jigsaw Model to increase them. It had purpose to increase students activity in asking questions, making resume, and getting conclusion. The kind of this research was “Classroom Action Research (CAR)”. It did two cycles, each cycle included two meeting, sample of this research was VII.4 SMP Kartika I-7 Padang, it had 26 students. Based on the result of it, the students activity was increased in the first cycle, the percentage of students activity in asking questions was increased from 54% to 62% in the second meeting, the students activity in making resume was increased from 58% to 69% and the students activity in getting conclusion was increased from 50% to 54%. While in the second cycle, the percentage of students activity can be describe as follow; the percentage of students activity in asking questions was increased from 77% to 83% in the second meeting, the students activity in making resume was increased from 85% to 88,5% and the students activity in getting conclusion was increased from 77% to 81%. Based on the result, using Cooperative Jigsaw Model can increase the students activity in learning Civic Education in class VII.4 SMP Kartika I-7 Padang.
