UNGKAPAN LARANGAN RAKYAT DI KENAGARIAN LUBUK LAYANG KECAMATAN RAO SELATAN KABUPATEN PASAMAN

Abstrak

The background of this research is there are still many people than believe abaout unknown forbidden statement. Teh purpose of this research to know the meaning and the function of forbidden statement in Kenagarian Lubuk Layang Kecamatan Rao Selatan Kabupaten Pasaman. Theory of this research are Danadjaya (1991)and Amir (2013) about Indonesian Folklor. Kind of this research is qualitative research that used descriptive method. Babatthering data methodh that used in this rehering data methodh that used in this ressearch are interview and note. The data will be transcribed, translate, identifisstion, analysis, and result. The result of data is showed that three functions forbidden statement in Kenagarian Lubuk Layang Kecamatan Rao Selatan Kabupaten Pasaman are the first forbidden statemen “urang sudah molahir ge ndo buliah disingguang kaki, beko bonten”. The second is “jangen bopayuang di tongah rumah beko dibuyun lobah” and the first is “Jangen mombaco di waktu magrib beko buto mato wak”.Meaning which there are in expression of is prohibition order represent symbolic meaning. Pursuant to result of research can be concluded that expression of is prohibition order which is used in general function to arrange someone behaviour in society.
