Abstrak

Here are several factors that lead to low results graders learn microsoft excel XI.IPS State Senior High School 1 Rengat West, which are still centered learning  teacher, while teaching only a few students were issued an opinion, it is because students do not understand the material taught. To overcome this problem, an effort that can be done is learning  Contextual Teaching and Learning. The learning Contextual Teaching and Learning is to develop the potential of students in a group. Students can associate learning materials with everyday life, finding ideas and build their own knowledge. Formulation of the problem in this research is Is student learning outcomes learning models make use of Contextual Teaching and Learning is better than learning student learning outcomes using the usual learning model in the classroom XI.IPS State Senior High School 1 Rengat West. This study aimed to improve student learning outcomes are learning to use the model Contextual Teaching and Learning in Schools XI.IPS grade students SMA Negeri 1 Rengat West. The hypothesis of this study is the results of student learning using CTL better learning of the learning outcomes of student learning using the usual learning in class XI. IPS school SMA Negeri 1 Rengat West.This type of research is experimental research. Population is graders XI.IPS State Senior High School 1 West Rengat 2015/2016 school year comprised 8 classes. For sampling carried out by random sampling technique, elected XI.IPS grade 8 as an experimental class and class XI.IPS 5 as the control class. The instrument used in the form of achievement test.Hypothesis testing is done to test differences in the average confidence level α = 0.005. From the calculation results obtained t '= 1.9749 and t table = 1.7, because t'> t table then the hypothesis is accepted that the learning outcomes of students are learning Microsoft Excel using Contextual Teaching and Learning Learning is better than microsoft excel students' learning outcomes that learning to use a regular learning in class XI.IPS State Senior High School 1 Rengat West.The authors suggest that these results can be input or consideration for other researchers who want to do the same research and advanced research.
