PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DENGAN MENGGUANAKAN MODEL COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING AND COMPOSITION DI SDN 32 TELUK RAYA PESISIR SELATAN
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of reading comprehension in the fourth grade students learning Indonesian, as well as the tendency of teachers to use conventional methods of learning that lecture. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in making inferences and reading comprehension fourth grade students of SDN 32 Teluk Raya Pesisir Selatan, using a learning model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Suprijono (2009; 130). This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subject of this study is the fourth grade students at SDN 32 Teluk Raya Pesisir Selatan, totaling 17 people. Instrument research used in this study is the observation sheet student, teacher observation sheets and sheets aspects of the final test cycle. The results showed that the average reading comprehension learning outcomes of students in the first cycle increased 50.95 to 83.3 in the second cycle and makes conclusions on the first cycle of 44.05 increased to 74.45 in the second cycle. From the data obtained it can be concluded that there is an increase reading comprehension by using model study of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition fourth grade students of SDN 32 Teluk Raya Pesisir Selatan.
