PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII1 PADA PEMBELAJARAN PKn DENGAN MODEL GROUP INVESTIGATION DI SMP BUNDA PADANG

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the low activity of class VIII¹ in the discussion, summarize and draw conclusions. Efforts to do is to increase student activity through a model of Group Investigation. This study aims to improve the activity of students in discussion, summarize and draw conclusions. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings, the subject of this study is VIII¹ junior grade students Bunda Padang, totaling 30 students. Based on the results of the study the average improvement of student activity in the first cycle, the value of the activity of students in discussion increased from 43.33% to 60%, the value of the activity students create a summary increased from 20% to 40% and the value of the activity of students makeinferences increased from 20% to 50 %. While the results of the study the average improvement of activity of students in the second cycle, the value of the activity of students in discussion increased from 60% to 86.67%, the value of the activity students create a summary increased from 40% to 80% and the value of the activity of students make inferences increased from 50% to 86.67 %. Based on the results of studies using a model Group Investigation, this method can increase the activity of students in civic education in junior class VIII¹ Bunda Padang.
