Abstrak

The background of this study by low student learning outcomes in social studies. The research purpose to describe improving student learning outcomes in studies by learning model Jigsaw in class IV SDN 06 Malepang Malepang Kecamatan Basa Ampek Balai Tapan. This study consisted of two cycles of meeting were held twice each cycle. Subjek the subjects were students of class IV SDN 06 Malepang Kecamatan Basa Ampek Balai Tapan with totaling 23 students. The result of research observation role in the ability of students to respon in the first cycle 52,2% increase in the second cycle to 81,9%. While the result of observation studies in the communication of student in the first cycle 50,0% increase in the second cycle to 82,6%. The next student learning outcomes obtained by percent in the first cycle 65,2%, while the second cylcle student learning outcomes to 87,0%. The results of the research, it can be concluded that by using the social studies of study model Jigsaw can improve student learning outcomes. This research, the authors suggest that teacher can use model Jigsaw to improve student learning outcomes.
