Abstrak

Augmented Reality is a merger of two-dimensional virtual objects or three-dimensional into a real three-dimensional environment, and then projecting the virtual objects in real time. The purpose of this research is to increase knowledge and improve students' knowledge and understanding of the introduction of the various types of network equipment with Augmented Reality application that displays 3D objects and video tutorials of the materials on the module so as to create a new atmosphere in the understanding of computer networks. The study was limited to design applications that are built for the introduction of the material in the form of computer network-based 3D objects android smartphone. This research model is the waterfall method or groove classic life (Classic Life Cycle). This android application products have gone through the stage of product feasibility test conducted by lecturers and teachers has been declared fit for use, then test the product to 10 students and has been declared "very good". Based on the above data, it can be concluded that the android based applications such as 3D Visualization Design on Introduction to Computer Network using the android operating system based on Augmented Reality, can be used by teachers and students as an understanding of the material introduction computer networks.
