Abstrak

ABSTRACT

 

The purpose of this study was to Improving Learning Outcomes IPA IV grade students of SDN 26 Nanggalo District of Koto XI Tarusan South Coastal District Inkuiri. The wayresearch is classroom action research (PTK). The number of students in this study there were 20 people, and implemented in the first half of which was held on two cycles, namely: the first cycle on October 26 and October 28, 2015, while the second cycle to be held on 02 November and 04 November 2015. The results of study in the first cycle obtained averagedaily tests 69 with a percentage of 40% completeness. Here appears a slight increase in pengguaan Inquiry approach. In the first cycle is still less serious students should receive special treatment by making the task ahead. While in the second cycle obtained an average percentage of observers who observe as much as 2 meetings was 77.2% for the indicator ask questions to the teacher regarding the subject matter well, 80% of the indicators have a conversation or discussion groups well, 100% for the indicator LKS work, 85% for the indicator to answer and respond to questions, 90% for the indicator experiment using a carefully and well. Results of study on the second cycle daily tests earned an average of 85 to 90% the percentage of completeness. This means that the process of learning science through inquiry approach is progressing well. It can be concluded that the inquiry approach can improve learning outcomes IPA grade IV SDN 26 Nanggalo District of Koto XI Tarusan South Coastal District Through Inquiry Approach. Based on the research results suggested that teachers can use inquiry approaches to improving student learning outcomes IPA.
