PENERAPAN METODE BUZZ GROUP PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMP KRTIK I-7 PADANG

Abstrak

Abstract

               Based on the observations that have been done in junior school Kartika 1-7 Padang showed that the learning process still use teacher centered. As a result of student activity only records, listen and see. In addition when given execises many students only copy the answers from the friends, who can do that. So that the learning outcomes of students of class VII SMP Kartika I-7 Padang is still a lot of them  below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM).

The overcome these problems then applied Buzz Group mathod. In the learning by using Buzz Group method, students are divided into small groups of 4-6 people, students practice communicating, produced opinions and directly involved in the discussion to answer math exercises, so that student learning outcomes can be improved. Hipotesis in this rescares is students result learning process by applied Buzz Group method is better than students’ math result teacher centered learning process.

               The type of this research is experimental with population of students class VII SMP Kartika I-7 Padang, class VII.2 as an experimental class and as class VII.1control class. Data in this research is study activities and math result learning process. Thestresult are get from final test are analized to hipotesis test with formula  for 2 sample independen. From this analize get =8,11 and db=1 are between 0,00050,005 mean wasrejectedand was accepted.
