Abstrak

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process is centered on teacher. One effort that can be done is to apply active learning strategies Giving Question and Getting Answer. The purpose of this study was to describe wheather the result of learning mathematics grade students of class VIII SMP PGRI 4 Padang that the learning strategy Giving Question and Getting Answer is better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students who apply regular learning. This type of research is experimental study. The population in this study were all students class VIII SMP PGRI 4 Padang in grade school year 2014/2015 consists of two classes the homogeneous. Results obtained no increase student learning outcomes at each meeting. Data learning outcomes of students in second grade math sample test of hypothesis testing is done with amean difference at the level. From the calculation results obtained dan . It can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics applying active learning strategies types Giving Question and Getting Answer no better or equal to the result of students mathematics learning by applying the usual learning.
