Abstrak

ABSTRACT

Student learning low outcomes on cognitive ICT in class XI SMA PGRI 1 Padang from the observations that have been made, the researcher wants to increase ICT learning outcomes by using constructivism. The purpose of this study was to compare the learning method with learning constructivism regular / conventional. This study was an experimental study in which there are two classes studied. The research instrument used in this study in the form of essay test with about 10 pieces. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA PGRI 1 Padang lessons 2015/2016. This study of 56 students is class XI IPS 2 as the control class with the number of students 28 people, while the experimental class XI IPS 4 were 28 students who were tested for normality, homogeneity, and the average similarity. In the experimental group using constructivism model while grade control using conventional pemebelajran models. The percentage of students who completed the experimental class also higher than the control class that is 78.5% in the experimental group and 75% in the control class. Use of constructivism learning model, has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in subjects Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Based on the results of hypothesis testing an experimental class and control class derived T table = 1.672 and T count = 2.711, so T arithmetic> T table then H0 is rejected, it means t test hypothesis test is H0 rejected H1 accepted. Based on the above it can be concluded that there is a difference by using the model of constructivism with students taught by conventional models in class XI SMA PGRI 1 Padang.
