KATA SAPAAN BAHASA MENTAWAI DESA SAIBI SAMUKOP KECAMATAN SIBERUT TENGAH KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN MENTAWAI

Abstrak

The purposeof this study is to inventory and describe formgreetingthe village of Saibi Samukop Kecamatan Siberut Tengah Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai. Aspect studied is the form and the use of the greeting villagers Saibi Samukop namely:the kinship of greeting and non-kinship that said common greeting, occupation, religion, and customs.The theory usedisthe theory of thegreetingwritten bySyafyahya.Types of the research by usingdescriptive.The objectof this research issociety of SaibiSamukopKecamatanSiberut Tengah KabupatenKepulauanMentawai. Based on theresults of data analysisfoundthatinsociety of Saibi Samukop there are eighty-eight forms of greeting, including:twenty-threegreetingkinship, twenty-ninegreetingexpanded, non-kinship greeting, thirteen greetingof occupation universal,sixteengreeting of accupation, fourth greeting of religion and three for greeting of costum. Based onthe results ofthedata analysis, it can be concluded in VillageSaibiSamukopare: (1) twentythreeformsof greetingkinship, (2) twentynine forms of greeting extended, (3)  thirteencommonform ofgreeting, (4) sixteenformsof greeting accupation, (5) fourth form of greeting religion and (6) three form of greeting costum.
