Abstrak

Abstract

Study result graders VII of SMPN 1 Pasaman is still much below minimum criteria for completeness (KKM) because students are not active in the learning process, still centered learning to teachers, students understading of the material they read is still not enough, and the results of students mathematics learning still low. Therefore, one model of learning Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition which can be used to overcome these problems. This study aims to determine students mathematics learning autcomes with learning model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition better than the results of students mathematics learning that learning to use a reguler learning in graders VII of SMPN 1 Pasaman. Hyphotesis in this study is the result of learning mathematics student learning applying the learning model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition better than using reguler teaching students in grader VII of SMPN 1 Pasaman. Type of research. Population in this research. Population in this research were all graders VII of SMPN 1 Pasaman. In the academy year 2015/2016 which consists of eight homogeneous classes. Sampling was done by random sampling because three conditions ranging from normal distributed population and homogeneous variance as well as haying an avarage similarity met then chosen graders. VII.6 as a class experiment and graders VII.5 as the control class. Based on students mathematics learning outcomes data on a sample class, hypothesis testing is done by the average differents test degree . From the calculation  and . Because       then the hypothesis is accepted. This it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics apply learning model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students who reguler learning.
