PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNINGTERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 11 PADANG

Abstrak

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of learning project based learning toward the learning outcomes of student of class X SMA Negeri 11 Padang in writing poetry. Theory that used in this research was the theory advanced by : (1) Dalman, Semi, and Tarigan were about writing skill, (2) Waluyo, Gani, and Prodopo about poetry, (3) Wena about theoritical model of learning project based learning, and (4) Sukardi about experimental research. This research  was quasyexperimental research. The population of this research was the tenth grade students at SMAN 11 Padang with amount 212 students divided into seven classes. The sample was taken by using cluster random sampling.  Based in theis technique chosen class X/4 consist of 30 studentsas control class that used conventional learning and class X/7 consist of 30 students as experimental class that used model of learning project based learning. Data obtainted by writing poetry test. Before hypothesis the data was analyzed with Llilifors test and homogenity test. The testing difference beetween the result of pretest and postest experimental groups shows the value of t-count is bigger than the value of t-table (t-count 12,006> t-table 2,002) so the hypothesis accepted and  rejected. Testing difference the result of postest experimental group and postest control groups produce the value of t-count bigger than t-table (t-count 7,505> t-table 2,002) so the hypothesis  accepted and  rejected . In other words, model of learning  project based learning models gives significant influence toward student learning of out come in writing poetry at SMA N 11Padang.
