UNGKAPAN EMOSIONAL TOKOH-TOKOH DALAM KUMPULAN CERPEN “MATA YANG ENAK DIPANDANG” KARYA AHMAD TOHARI

Abstrak

This research aims to descibe emotional expression which showed by the  characters in the colection of short stories Mata yang Enak Dipandang  by Ahmad Tohari. The theories which are used to analyze the emotional expression are according to Mudjiran (2007), Nurgiyantoro (2010), Winarni (2014), and Minderop (2011). This research is qualitative research with descriptive method Moleong (2014). Technique analysis the data is done by grouping the data which has the aspects of the research, analyzing the emotional expression, such as anger, afraid, love sadness, dislike and happiness, interpreting the result of the data analysis, with the emotions, making conclusion and writing the reports. The result of the data show that there are 74 data of emotional expression by the characters, 18 data of ranger, 8 data of afraid, 2 data of love, 27 data of sadness, 8 data of dislike, and 11 data of happiness. The general conclusion show that sadness is dominant expressed by the characters in the collection of short stories Mata yang Enak Dipandang by Ahmad Tohari. It is found from  the daily life of the characters which live a life that was very lender.
