PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN KONSTRUKTIVISME DI KELAS V SD N 21 TABUBARAIE KECAMATAN X KOTO KABUPATEN TANAH DATAR

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcome fifth grade students in learning science with a constructivist approach in the District X Koto Tabubaraie Tanah Datar. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. Based on the research results it can be seen that the average value of student learning outcomes in the cognitive achievement of students at the end of the test cycle of the average value of 67.08 in the first cycle increased to 86.88 in the second cycle, with completeness 58% in cycle 1 to 83% the second cycle. Student learning outcomes in the affective aspects, namely 68.71, in the first cycle increased to 76.25 in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes in psychomotor aspects, namely 66.08 in the first cycle increased to 73.25 in the second cycle. The final conclusion is that learning science using constructivism approach can improve learning outcomes fifth grade students at SDN 21 Tabubaraie the District X Koto Tanah Datar. It is suggested to teachers in science teaching with a constructivist approach can be used as one approach to learning in primary schools and in implementing the constructivist approach to teacher should take into account the time as efficiently as possible.
