PERANCANGAN SISTEM PENILAIAN PRESTASI KERJA DOSEN BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN PHP DAN MYSQL

Abstrak

As a University which obey the rules of the Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education (MENRISTEKDIKTI) Bung Hatta University always strive to improve continuously the performance of lecturer’s by conducting an evaluation of lecturer’s performance every year. This study aims to produce the design of information system such as lecturer’s performance appraisal system, by using PHP and MySQL, this system can be accessed online to make it easier for lecturer’s in the process of inputting the data of SKP and also for official assessor to do assessment. In designing this information system, author used method of analysis and design of waterfall. Stages of the design of waterfall starts by system requirements analysis, design the system by using the modeling language Unified Modeling Language (UML), coding by using programming language Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) with a MySQL database. Stages of designing ends with testing the system, resulting a system of performance appraisal system is a web based lecturer’s using PHP and Mysql. The testing process conducted by examiners who are expertise with the system that has been designed, so the system which designed  is feasible to be operated. The result of design for lecturer’s performance appraisal system using PHP and MySQL consists of pages for the super user, lecturer’s, and official assessor, which can be accessed online. Based on the data, it can be concluded that the web-based system for lecturer’s performance appraisal is feasible to use, all features work well, and can be developed for further used.
