Abstrak

This study aims to determine the relationship between parents' attention to learning outcomes on the subjects of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in SMA PGRI 1 Padang. This research is a descriptive correlational. The study population numbered 96 people and a sample of 32 students of class XI Department IPA3 SMA PGRI 1 Padang in the academic year 2015/2016. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. By doing normality test, homogeneity, and the average similarity with significance level> 0.05. Data obtained from tests of learning outcomes learning outcomes that have been created based on the research subjects in class XI ICT Department IPA3. This data is a reflection of student learning outcomes in ICT subjects. The results of the data analysis of the relationship between parents' attention to the results of student learning of ICT in SMA PGRI 1 Padang, seen from an average of 67.68 with a questionnaire of correlation coefficient (r) 0.604. Thus making a positive impact on learning outcomes. As well as providing a contribution of 36.4%, with the attention of a good parent, it can improve student learning outcomes better.
