Abstrak

The reseach was motivated by lack of student writting skil at SDN 13 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman Regency the purpose of this study is to descripe the incease in narative essay writting skill of student in indonesian by using the model picture and picture in class IV SDN 13 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman Regency this theary is in writing, the theory expressed by Dalman (2015), and model picture and picture expressed by Huda (2014), the kind of this reaseach classroom action research. This study was conduted in 2 cycles each eycle consisted of twices conspicuaty and final test cycle this research subject is IV grade students at SDN 13 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman Regency reswarch instrument used is the observation sheet student activities, teacher observation sheet aspects, and a tes sheet student learning out came mastery learning out came of students writting skill in cycle is 38,89% with an averfe increase learning outuemes 61,46 to 83,33% with as overage increase learning outcomes 84,02 this means learning Indonesian using the picture and picture may iprove the ability to write a narative essay. This it can be concluded that picture learning model can improve student ability writting narative essay.
