Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This research is background by the low of resulting students problem to study Social Studies (IPS) the students class V-C in SDN 10 Sungai Sapih Padang. It this caused in the studying just central for teacher and presence students the less observed teacher. The solution able to used for handle problem this is Modelling The Way model. The Purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of results learning students in the studying Social Studies (IPS) with Modelling The Way model. The kind of this research is action class research. The subject of this  research is student class V-C with number 36 meeting time. The Instrument that used this research is the sheet of observation activities teachers, the sheet of observation assessment affective discipline, the sheet of observation assessment psychomotor discipline, and the sheet of the end test cycle. The result of this research, is got percentase assessment affective discipline students in the first cycle is amount 52,8% with score 71,9 rising in the second cycle is happen 80,5% with score 83,8 and percentase assessment psychomotor students in the first cycle is amount 44,4% with score 67,5 rising in the second cycle is amount 77,8% with score 84,0 and completeness studying students cognitive, students in the first cycle is amount 55,6% with score 69,7 rising in the second cycle is amount 80% with score 80,6. Become, learning Social Studies (IPS) with Modelling The Way model can be escalate result of studying students. From this research, the suggested to the teachers should be used Modelling The Way model for escalate resulting students Learning Social Studies (IPS).
