Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe the results of sixth grade students learning in civics learning through simulation methods in SDN 02 Timbalun Bungus District of Padang. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final exam cycle. The subjects were students of class VI SDN 02 Timblun, District Bungus, totaling 26 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet teacher activity and affective aspects of assessment observations, tests and field notes. The results showed that, there is an increase in cognitive learning results of the first cycle was 64.15 increased to 76.46 in the second cycle. Results affective learning (responsibility) the first cycle is increased to 88.46 and 59.14 affective (cooperation) cycle I is 52.40 increased to 82.69. It can be concluded Civics learning student learning outcomes by using simulation method can improve student learning outcomes SDN 02 Timbalun sixth grade.
