Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe students interest in expressing opinions, discussions, presentations and results from students at SDN 48 Kuranji Padang by using Example Non Example method. Type of research is a action of students in classroom, the subject is Fifth A class of SDN 48 Kuranji Padang, totalling Twenty Five students. The research was conducted in the second semester in 2015/2016. The research instrument used in study is the observation sheet student interest, teacher activity sheet, and the end of the cycle test sheet. Based on the results of the study showed that the percentage of student interest in learning to express opinions on the first cycle fifty six percent increase to eighty four percent in the second cycle, student interest discussed in the first cycle sixty four percent rising to eighty two percent in the second cycle, student interest presentation in the first cyclefifty six percent increased to eighty percent in the second cycle. The average result of learning in understanding aspects of science students in the first cycle is 61.6 with fifty two percent completeness percentage increased to 84 with the percentage of completeness eighty four percent in the second cycle. It was concluded that by using Non Example Non Example method can increase interest and student learning outcomes in science learning. Researchers suggested that teachers use learning Example Non Example method in science learning well.
