Abstrak

Abstract

 

This research has background by students who have low learning achievement at class IV in indonesian language learning process. The purposes of this research is to describe students improving in reading ability at class IV in indonesian language by using grammar model in SDN  223 Rantau Embacang, Bungo distric. This research is class investigation (PTK). The theory used in this research is introduced by Hendri Guntur Tarigan (2008: 13). The subject in this research is students at class IV which amount of 25 students. Instrumentation of this research was teacher activities observation sheet and  students learning achievement test. Based on the result of this research able to know that percentage of the teacher actvities  on average I and II cycle was 63,88% to be 83,32%. Based on students learning achievement test got the result of test in I and II cycle 72,40 become 83,80. The result of this research can be concluded that in indonesian language learning process through grammar model in SDN 223 Rantau Embacang can be increasing students reading ability. On the basis of this research, researcher suggest that this grammar model can be used by the teachers in teaching learning process with subject indonesian language at elementary school.
