Abstrak

ABSTRACT

 

This study aimed to describe the activities and learning outcomes the inquiry model of learning with learning science in elementary school 13  Tungkal Selatan Pariman Utara Kota Pariaman. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which is implemented in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year at elementary school  13 Tungkal Selatan Pariaman Utara Kota Pariaman. The research subject is the fourth grade students of elementary school Negeri 13  Tungkal Selatan Pariaman Utara Kota Pariaman totaling 16 students.The opinions referenced in this research is Arikunto (2012). The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet activities of teacher and student activity. The study consisted of two cycles of meetings were held twice each cycle. The procedure consisted of four stages: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results showed an increase in the activity of the first cycle of students obtained an average percentage of students questioned 40.7% increase to 71.9% in the second cycle and found a 65.9% increase to 90.7% in the second cycle. Based on the results of research carried out unknown percentage of the first cycle of learning outcomes was 31.3% and an increase in the percentage of learning outcomes of the second cycle to 75%. The final conclusion is that learning science using inquiry models can increase the activity and learning outcomes of fourth grade students at elementary school 13 Tungkal Selatan Pariaman Utara Kota Pariaman. The results are expected to be useful for teachers and readers in order to improve student learning outcomes in the classroom.while the students can improve learning and training activities to Socialization with friend.
