Abstract

           

The survey is motivation by the weak of speaking skills VB grade students at SD 52 on Parupuk Tabbing Padang Koto Tangah sub-district. This is because students don't pay attention a teacher in providing the materials so that the students' speaking skills are low. The purpose of this survey is to describe the improvement of students speaking skills class VB on learning socio-drama Indonesian model in SD 52 on Parupuk Tabbing Padang Koto Tangah sub-district. The survey is a class action with the subject of VB grade students of SD 52 Parupuk Tabbing that amounts to 23 students. This survey conducted in the second semester of 2015/2016 academic year. The survey instrument used is the observation sheet activities of teachers and students speaking skill assessment sheet Indonesian through socio-drama models VB class going well. Based on the survey the result of students speaking skills in the first cycle of 71,6 increased in the second cycle in 87,64. This means learning Indonesian through socio-drama models can improve students speaking skills class VB SD 52 Parupuk Tabbing Padang. Based the survey, it concludes the model socio-drama can improve students speaking skills class VB SD 52 Parupuk Tabbing sub-district.
