PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION (TAI) PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS DI SDN 10 SUNGAI SAPIH PADANG

This research is background by the low activity and low of resulting students problem class IVA to study IPS in SDN 10 Sungai Sapih Padang. This is cause is learning process central of teacher. And model to solve this problem is by Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model. The porpuse of this research is to describe the improvement of activity and the result of cognitive students to study IPS with Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model. The kind of this research is action class is action class research. The subject of this reseach is student class IVA with number 39 people. And the instrumen that used is the sheet of observation activity students, the sheet of observation teacher, and the sheet of the end test cycle. The result of this research is showed the average score activities of question in the first cycle is amount 60,9%, rising the cycle is amount 86,5%, the activities of answer in the first cycle is amount 71,8% rising in the second cycle is amount 84,4%. The average of studying students in the end test in the level C1 of the first cycle is amount 80,8 with completeness 71,8% rising in test first cycle is amount 91 with completeness 92,3%. And the average of studying students in the end test in the level C2 of the second cycle is amount 65,9 with completeness 46,1% rising in the second test cycle is amount 77,2 with completeness 76,9%. From this research, it can be concluded that activities and result of studying students in the studying IPS can be improved with Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model. Based in the research, the researcher suggested to the teachers should be used Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model to increase and result of studying students.
