Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in activity ask, answer questions, discuss and Science learning outcomes of students using cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray in Class V. Research instrument used is the achievement test sheet. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles with each of the two meetings with the number of students 30 people. Based on the research that has been carried out, it is known that the activity asks students in the first cycle was 53.33%, increased to 68.34% in the second cycle. Activities students to answer questions in the first cycle of 36.67%, increased to 68.34% in the second cycle. Activities discuss the students in the first cycle was 58.34%, increased to 93.34% in the second cycle. Percentage of mastery learning in the first cycle was 40.00% with an average value of 67.83, increasing to 86.67% with an average value of 81.7 in the second cycle. From the results obtained it can be concluded that the science learning through cooperative learning methods Type Two Stay Two Stray can increase the activity and student learning outcomes. Researchers suggested that teachers can use in the application of cooperative learning methods Type Two Stay Two Stray efficient teachers should take into account the time and students who chide.
