Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to improve the writing skills improvement in learning Indonesian students in the fourth grade SDN 18 2x11 Wood Planted fields Pariaman through the model Picture and Picture. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final exam siklus.Subject this study is the fourth grade students of SDN 18 2x11 Wood Plant, which numbered 20 people. The research instrument used was the observation sheet of students 'writing skills, observation sheet aspects of teacher learning, test results of students' cognitive learning. Based on the research that has been carried out can be seen that the average value of the time of writing and post-writing cycle I was 63 with learning completeness percentage of 25% and the average value of writing and post-writing the second cycle is the percentage ketuntasan80 80.1%. This means that the implementation of learning Indonesian by using model Picture And Picture going well. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can use the model Picture And Picture in learning to improve students' writing skills.
